If you’re new to specialty coffee, this bean is a great introduction. It’s a well-balanced, medium body coffee, heavy on the chocolate notes with nice, subtle tangerine or orange citrus notes.
This coffee comes from the rich volcanic slopes surrounding the high altitude Lake Atitlán in the Sierra Madre mountain range of Guatemala. It is a beautiful area and I couldn’t help but continuously making comparisons to my former home, Lake Tahoe in Nevada and California.
