Colombia La Esperanza Geisha Hybrid SALE!! Last call

Available in 10oz biodegradable bags. Roasted 11/27 $4 off

Geisha coffee trees, like all coffee, originated in Ethiopia and are a highly sought out due to their distinctive sweet and floral flavor notes.  They contain about 30% of the caffeine content of most Coffee arabica, making them harder to grow and rare to find. Because the washed process results in better quality control, this Geisha hybrid is ideal for those who want to sip on something exceptional and complex, but still smooth. The seed is full and long in appearance and flavor.

We taste Jasmin, honey, and black tea, with delicate acidity.

Original price was: $28.00.Current price is: $24.00.

Our September 2024 Coffee Club selection and very limited! This is our second coffee from the La Esperanza Farm, reaching us thanks to our direct relationship with Carolina Posada of Mina Rica Coffee.  The farm is owned by siblings, Rigoberto and Luis Eduardo Herrera, third-generation coffee producers, who come from a long-standing coffee-producing family. Their grandparents started their careers in coffee in 1945 at Potosi farm.  Juan Antonio Herrera and his wife Blanca Ligia Correa purchased the land with existing Typica plants. They later added many more cultivars, including the harder to grow, lower in caffeine varieties such as this sweet and floral Geisha hybrid and the very fruity Laurina, (a previous club coffee!)
