Most of us remember the day if we think about it. For us, Sunday March 8th, 2020 was our official “Friends and Family Soft Opening” for the café inside our new roastery at 750 Cass St. in Trenton. Natalie did her best to hide an early pregnant belly and Erik tried to keep it a secret that his wife was also expecting. An exciting day all around – and a strange one. We put out extra hand sanitizer…
That day was never followed by a big April grand oepning, but we certainly weren’t alone, pedaling our way through the era of unmet expectations. What we DID get to do over the next five years was fueled by luck and support from those who showed up for us that Sunday, and many, many others. We hope reflecting on that time fills you with reassurance that you continue to find balance and move forward towards what you need and love. (maybe our coffees can help.)
